I am a woman navigating the aging process in a society that sometimes makes this challenging.

I have been a social worker and am now retired recently and am in the process of redefining who I am. I am amazed and sometimes both dismayed and delighted with the challenges of this journey into becoming an elder. I also volunteer at the local zoo with elephants, and find that they have much to teach about wrinkles, sagging skin, larger size, and doing what they want and when they want to! I am wanting to help and support other women along this process as we navigate these waters together.
